We had dinner here on our first night in Malaga. It set the bar high. The gambas pil pil were amazing. The best I’ve had. Spicy and garlicky and delicious. The tomato and burrata was light and fill of flavor. The tomatoes are perfect. The sangria was so good. Refreshing and addictive. Service was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The terrace patio area is charming and the perfect spot for dinner. Thank you for a wonderful dinner! 🍷

What a find, this is a gem of a restaurant in the heart of Malaga old town. Our party of four were seated inside. We ordered a lovely bottle of Rioja and my wife had what she described as the “perfect virgin Pina Colada”. The food was stunning, we had a variety of starters from the pumpkin soup, baked egg plant and a stand out seafood casserole packed full of shellfish and octopus. The mains were excellent, beautiful ingredients expertly prepared and served, these were salmon fillet, pork and lamb loin. All were amazing. We had a wonderful lunch at Restaurante Romancero in Málaga. We both started with the pumpkin soup and shared the spinach buñuelos. For the main course, I had the grilled squid, while my mother chose the pili-pili prawns. Everything was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The service was excellent — friendly, warm, and attentive, with a cozy atmosphere. With two bottles of water, the bill came to around €40 per person, which we felt was great value for money. Highly recommended.
