Had a very enjoyable farewell to Barcelona dinner with family and friends at La Pentola. It was definitely worth the effort to find parking and locate this gem in Mataro. The wait staff were friendly and fun to interact with. Everyone agreed the food met expectations. My baked cod was flaky, tasty and served with fries. Family said the pizzas were delicious. The place is loud with chatter and very family friendly. Do recommend.

I have tried pizza napoletana and the bologniese. The pasta was not so special but good but the pizza was made in oven and it was crunchy and delicious. The panna cota as desert was amazing. The ownner very nice and friendly. I would say he deserves a 5 star service.

Best pizza in mataro!! The service is also great! However, I feel that they need to hire another waitor/waitress as when it’s busy it becomes very slow with only one.

A place to repeat! Amazing food, true taste, best ingredients. Loved everything we had: carpaccio, pizza, pasta, wine! Very good quality/price range. Special thanks to the cook and the waiter. You're the best! The fact I don't have pictures of food talks for itself :)
