Really delicious food with a mixture of popular Asian dishes from gyoza dumplings to noodle soups! Everything was tasty and the bill for 5 people was extremely reasonable! After a slight complaint about the fried ice-cream the restaurant agreed to offer us another. I would definitely have taken them up on the offer but I enjoyed the dough anyway as it was sweat and tasty and who knows maybe the ice-cream melted inside. Brilliant food and brilliant service!

Staff were lovely but food was poor. We were made to eat from the set price New Years menu whilst others (presumably locals) got to choose from the regular menu. I was refused rice or noodles as a side for my main course despite offering to pay extra. It didn't matter I'm the end as the prawns and beef dishes were so salty they were inedible. Apparently the chef had gone home so they couldn't offer us an alternative. The starters were ok but we won't be back. A disappointing New Years Eve, sadly.

Review for Cooking Sam (Chinese Restaurant): I recently dined at Cooking Sam and was pleased with the prompt service and overall ambiance. However, I encountered a small issue when it came to saving leftovers for takeaway. Despite the waitress being friendly and attentive throughout my meal, I was surprised when she asked me to handle the leftover packing myself due to "hygiene" reasons. While I understand the importance of hygiene, I believe it would have been a nice touch if the staff had offered to assist me by safely storing the leftovers while I finished my meal.
