Matt R★★★★Visited on Easter for lunch, the place was lively and had a great local feel. Ordered two tapas to share. The Migas were outstanding: perfectly textured, full of flavour, easily a 5/5. The Trikiny, on the other hand, had everything going for it in terms of taste, but arrived stone cold, straight-from-the-fridge cold. Such a pity, because warm it could have been the highlight of the meal. For mains, the costillas de ternasco hit the spot. Chris Curtin★★★★It was a good little place to pop in. We had a larger group, it's tight in this place but it definitely has a homie feel to it. Very cool collection on the walls, neat bar and the food was good. I ended up doing the tapas plate where the restaurant selects 6 tapas to give you and I'd thought it was great. Wouldn't recommend for large groups but it had a very cool vibe and atmosphere to it. Seems like a spot for locals.
Philip Lewis★★★★★Not yet used to Spanish timing we fancied a beer and tapas just as the tapas bars were closing after lunch before opening again at 7pm. After being turned away from a couple of bars we came across La Republicana and it was open. Although quiet it had a nice atmosphere and we had a couple of beers each and shared three non meat tapas (most options do contain meat but as my wife is pescatarian there were a few options to try). They were all very tasty and it was just what we wanted. Decor is interesting and later on in the evening I imagine it would have a brilliant vibe.
Michelle Lovell★★★★★Great little restaurant with good service and well priced menu. Vintage memorabilia everywhere. Start with the house award winning tapas, then try the pork quesadilla and finish with the rice pudding.
