The guys who work here are great and the food is legit good. Nice outdoor space in a tucked away small boutique hotel with beautiful art. Creative and delicious cocktails using fresh local ingredients. I always can’t help ordering either the seared tuna or the beef tataki- the cuts of meat are good and they cook it perfectly and as it should be.

Pretty nice place to spend a pleasant and relaxing time with good selection of meals to choose from. Talking about the food, Portions were quite small than expected but was filling and tasty. Staff were friendly and supportive, even with recommending most popular dishes and inviting to the lounge area if prefer to hangout longer after the meals. Making a reservation would make things easier. They do offer valet parking and parking area is the private road in-front of the venue. Tip: located within ‘Lake Lodge’.

Dropped in for lunch at Table by Nyne and left absolutely impressed. Every plate was fresh, thoughtful, and packed with flavour — you can tell a lot of care goes into the menu. The beef tataki in particular was bloody fabulous: beautifully seared, silky, and just bursting with flavour. It set the bar high for everything else, and the rest of the meal didn’t disappoint. A real gem for a long, leisurely lunch.

Amazing place, amazing people - totally unexpected. Not only do they serve fabulous food in a gorgeous environment, but they also offer accommodation - rooms from super to super dooper! I wouldn't think there is quite another, quite so hip and artsy place in Colombo and all that at a very reasonable rate. Highly recommended. We loved it.

Used to love the place. The food used to be really good but now its terrible while its also super overpriced. At least as I see it. The interior is beautiful as always and the staff has always been helpful. The crab eggs Benedict was terrible. Muffin was so dry and the crab tasted so bad. Its almost taste like tuna because its crushed to a paste. Muffins were dry like bread. Pork burger was ok but again bun was dry like bread. Sounds like im complaining so much but thats what it was. The potato rings came on the side was amazing lol I dont know. The pork patty is proper and tasty. The pulled pork noodle had so much salt and was practically inedible. My friend had to eat it since we were starving waiting for the food to come for a while Salted caramel popcorn sunday was good though. Overall quality has dropped and price has increased which is kinda common these days everywhere sadly.

Table by Taru is an exquisite experience. The place is really artistic and the architecture is amazing. The food is even more enticing and superior quality. The french bread was really nice with butter, the grilled Barramundi pumpkin gnocchi was top knotch. The crispy fried chicken with mashed potatoes was also tastier , it was a bit rough and more crispier than expected. And for the dessert jaggery crème brulèe was excellent. For the prices the food was worth it and the service and staff were super good and friendly . In total Table By Taru is one of the must have experience in central colombo. We are coming back for more in another time of day to experience the other entreè.
