We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It was tucked away near the library and we decided to give it a chance, sort of an spur of the moment decision, I'm glad we did. All the burgers were excellent (as well as the salad) and the cheese platter was awesome (if somewhat lacking in portion size).

Not bad but could be better. Bun too hard/crispy and big compared to the meat patty which could be bigger. Also the bacon was too little. The burger lacked some flavour which could improve if the patty was thicker and it was cooked longer. The potato chips were good but for my taste they could be cut thinner for crunchiness. The service is friendly (they made a mistake with the order but I’m not considering this) and professional. The place and atmosphere is pretty cool, seems tricky to find as it’s in a hidden square. Very nice coffee maybe the best I ve tried in Basel. The food is excellent. We had a soup of the day and another with coconut pumpkin ginger etc and also a bowl of curry chicken with rice. Excellent quality and very very tasty. The staff was excellent and very helpful!!!!
