What a gem I found on my short trip to Bern! The food was exquisite, and I even got a takeaway box because the portion was so big I couldn’t finish it. My white wine was divine. The service was brilliant, it was pretty busy but the man (I assume the owner) was walking around making sure everyone was attended to while his wife (I assume) was preparing the drinks. And it was lovely and ambient, with the interior decorated traditionally. A must visit in this convenient central Bern location.

Had dinner here 2 nights ago. Ever since our group arrived the waiters started shouting and forcing members to sit when some people were waiting to head over to the restroom. The dining room inside was rather warm and we asked politely if we could be sat outside. The waiter replied very inappropriately rude at us and everyone was in awe by the reaction. Food was OK but not great. Service was bad and the servers were racist. All in all an unbelievably horrible experience on our first day in Switzerland. Would definitely advise anyone to stay away from this establishment.

A great place that I visit occasionally. Today I had a beer and Menu 3 which was Rösti mit Speck. It’s a great atmosphere and my dogs are always welcome. The service is very quick and efficient with a great attitude from the staff. I highly recommend this place to visitors.

Nice place to go for a lunch despite of being in a very busy touristy hot spot. No reservations made. I had 3 young kids from 8 to 17 years old and portion for them was very big!! The guy serving us made an error and still tried his luck to continue one of kid to have food which he did not order.
