We chose this restaurant as our celebration for our family’s birthday in September. It’s my first time trying French restaurant in Taichung. And it turned out the dining experience was delightful . The dishes they provided were good. The staffs were also friendly and taking pictures for us.The black currants mousse with berry ice cream made me impressed a lot! Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy a special meal with your lovely family.

The food was outstanding! They need to remove the minestrone soup from the menu (bland and shouldn't be on here [thought this was a french restaurant, not Italian] and the onion soup was definitely not fresh, several days old and maybe frozen and the cheese was scorched too far for this. Everything else was outstanding!!! They definitely need to update the shared bathroom as this is drastically limiting the reviews of this place and it's overall experience. The service was impeccable!

French cuisine - Business lunch Bouillabaisse - didn't come in stew, but taste in strong favour. Season fruit salad with blue yogurt - love the blue yogurt sauce, but a spoon should be provided. Fried local wild fish with parsley white wine cream sauce - tasty sauce, well fried fish. Rasberry parfait - no comment. Service - clean the table after the soup, good. Better provide appropriate cutlery according to the customers order. Overall - great value for kind of like French cuisine experience.

Le Céleste was recommended by our friends and they told us it's the best spot with the most reasonable price for authentic French cuisine in Taichung. The decor is elegant, modern, and classy with romantic ambiance. We love their open kitchen and enjoyed the cooking show during our dining there. We were there for their lunch set and got entrees as below: Crispy Pork Knuckle, Pork Rib Eye Cap Steak, and 2 orders of Rib Eye Roll Steak. The lunch set came with bread, soup, salad, and dessert. Everything was decent and our favorites were the Classic Cream of Mushroom Soup with Truffle and Crispy Pork Knuckle. The soup was creamy and rich with a strong taste of truffle. The pork knuckle was satisfying and soft inside with a crispy layer. We received a mini box of small bites, which was great after we left 5-star reviews. Overall, Le Céleste was a perfect place for an anniversary or special occasion for couples or family.
