Vouchline★★★★Prices on the menu do not include tax, which is added to the bill—unlike many other places in Tanzania. Also, individual item costs were not listed on the receipt, so be sure to ask your server for clarification. Chef Asili offers flavorful food with generous portions. The roasted chicken was savory and filling, the mashed potatoes were tasty and plentiful, and the plain rice was good, accompanied by excellent chili, chicken, and bean sauces. Service was inconsistent—one waiter took only part of the order before disappearing, requiring another to retake it—but the manager was very attentive. Expect a wait: 30 minutes for roasted chicken, rice, and potatoes, and up to an hour for the chicken pasta, which I would avoid if you’re short on time. The restaurant was very busy on a Sunday morning, with no initial seating available. Noise was moderate to high in the open, bustling space with TVs and lots of conversation. Parking is available.

The servers were attentive and the service is fast. Cons: The plate costs 9k. Expensive for the quality. Their spiced milk tea needs work. Otherwise, Its a must go to place for lunch in Dodoma.
