The uncle is so nice! I got there an hour before closing time, initially the uncle told me all the pandan buns were all sold out, but got reminded by the aunty there’s some left in a box nearby… And he gave 1 to me for free! Ordered more the next day! Going back there the next time as well :)
The place is simple but this buns are really really nice and tasty. If you are a tourist, you have to taste it. I used to visit Bangkok frequently and every time, I used to visit this bakery.
Look at their burst kaya bun! Freshly baked kaya buns are super soft and extremely satisfying. The sweetness is just nice. Most importantly, the boss is super friendly, even gave out 3 free buns for us to try. Definitely will come again when our next visit to Bangkok!

D.K. Bakery A classic and well-loved bakery in the Silom area with a long history. The shop has a simple, traditional charm, and the bread is always fresh and comforting. Their signature buns and bakery items are soft, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The pandan custard and egg custard breads are especially enjoyable, with a nice balance of aroma and taste. Prices are reasonable, and the quality has remained consistent over the years. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience a traditional Bangkok bakery or to grab freshly baked bread in Silom. This has been my family’s favorite bakery for many years. Whenever I travel to Silom, I always make a stop to buy bread from here. Besides the pandan custard bread, I also enjoy their variety of filled buns, which are truly unique. Some of my favorites are the chicken filling, a nostalgic flavor I’ve loved since childhood, as well as the shiitake mushroom and taro fillings. The bakery does not use preservatives, which makes their p

Stumbled upon this bakery when I was exploring Bangkok & it was the best find! Loved how old school the bakery looked & the owner was so friendly. Glad I waited for the savoury pork & mushroom bun to come straight out of the oven because it was filled with ingredients & so yummy. Their bread is super fluffy & I also finished with a kaya pandan bread which wasn’t overly sweet

I saw the google reviews and wanna get it a try. It is quite good taste as Asian traditional bread, the stuffing of panda cream was mild sweet and flavorful. The bread is soft not dry at all. I like it!! The small box has 6 pieces of panda buns at $60 Thai baht. So lovely price, isn’t it?! I will buy some back home and share to my friends!

Happened to walk around this area and seen this old-fashioned bakery with few people are buying the kaya. Was only thinking to give it a go with kaya and homemade shrimp chili. Owner saw that we were hesitating to decide between the egg or pandan Kaya, he is so kind to take time to explain. Such a hardworking and hosptitable owner👍🏻. Much appreciated for the free of 2 kaya buns (freshly baked, still warm at that time). As others' comments, the bun is soft and chewy, filled with generous amount of kaya (yes, it's abit on the sweet side for me but my friends think it's perfect 😋). We also bought their pork floss bun (4 in a box). Likewise, soft bread with generous filling. Price is cheap, still the olden times bakery price. Oh, and this bakery has been here for 80 years 😲👍🏻.

unassuming bakery but so. freaking. good. the buns are soft but still bouncy and the pandan kaya (although alarmingly green by singapore standards) was just the right level of sweetness. i was not particularly wow-ed after my initial bun but found myself craving more. yaowarat buns can step aside for my new favourite bread in bkk! so good that my family made a return visit and bought dozens of buns back home and pleased to report that they travelled well and still tasted great after a few days savoury options were all sold out
