Absolutely outstanding experience at Beastie! We both ordered steaks cooked medium-rare and they were perfectly done exactly as requested. Juicy, tender, and packed with flavour very nice steak rub on these. We started with the ox tail & tongue tacos and they were incredible & unbelievably tender and deeply flavourful. A must-try starter. The bacon mac & cheese was also amazing, rich and comforting without being too heavy. Service was exceptional across the board. Laura and her team truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. Friendly , attentive, and genuinely welcoming. For dessert, we shared the pecan pie with ice cream, which was delicious. The crust had a nice firm texture, making it a bit tricky to eat with just a spoon — a small fork would make it even easier — but honestly, still a fantastic dessert we’d happily order again. However, it was our server, Lora, who made our experience truly memorable. Her service was top-class. To help us decide, she presented an iPad with photos and took the time to introduce every dish. She gave us brilliant advice on selecting our beef and the best sauces to pair with it, enhancing every bite. The entire meal, from the bread to the dessert, was seamless thanks to her attentiveness. And speaking of dessert, the chocolate lava cake was a stunning surprise and the best I've had in Thailand. This restaurant delivers incredible value for such high-quality food and outstanding, personalized service. From the warm welcome at the door to the attentive care throughout the evening, and even being escorted outside upon leaving — a level of hospitality that is rare to find these days in Thailand. Both the hostess and the manager were exceptional. The food is fantastic and offers great value for the quality of meat. The menu is well thought out — simple, yet everything you’d hope to find in a steakhouse. I especially want to highlight the rice pot with beef, which was absolutely amazing and a dish I would gladly come back for. The beef cart show is another must-try, full of flavor and different textures. The beef tongue with braised cabbage was outstanding, perfectly balanced and full of depth. I recently tried Beastie, a chef’s table restaurant that charges around 4,000-5,000 THB per person. Given the high price, I was expecting exceptional quality. The flavours, cooking, and service were all exceptional. The starter pie was soft and warm, perfectly complementing their side butter and jelly jam. The taco beef with sauce was a bit too cold for my taste, but understandable considering full 25 seats on that day. Despite this, it was a delightful mix of flavorful guacamole and sauce. I particularly enjoyed the steak. I can’t recall which cuts they serve, but they rubbed the meat with something that gave it a crisp texture and a delightful aroma. Overall, I enjoyed all the dishes they served. However, some of the dishes were a bit too cold for my liking, and I expected more temperature in each dish. The service was generally satisfactory.
