When we visited last year, this was just a small bakery run by a Japanese owner who made incredible bread. As a true bread lover, I need my daily dose, and nothing beats freshly baked bread. This year, returning to Thailand, I discovered that the Japanese owners had likely sold the shop to a Thai owner. However, the tradition lives on—the quality remains just as excellent. Not only that, but the shop has expanded into a bakery and café. I tried the red bean bun and the salt butter bun, and both were absolutely delicious. Even the Thai tea here is better than the one at Beyond Bread around the corner. Give it a try. You won’t regret it.

Especially for the salt butter bread, this is the 1st shop in Bangkok I’ve known before Shio Pan has become popular. It’s not too buttery in texture but buttery scent (the same as the potato truffle). Always drop by when we come around this area although we are not hungry😊

It’s a small hole in the wall shop that specialises in Japanese style bakes. The salt butter roll was very soft and fluffy with a nice crust at the base from the butter “frying” up the bread. Nice place to pick up some good quality bakes but seating is very limited and might not be the best place for dining in.

The curry pan was really good, the bread was so soft, chewy, and the portion of the bread and curry paste was just right. It wasn't oily too. I also bought an-doughnut and it was as good as the curry pan. It was a bit hard to walk from BTS to the shop but it was worth it.
