I liked the atmosphere. Its hip and vibey but didnt feel pretentious. We have been here a few times and the highlight for us is always the baked goods/cakes which are delicious. Would reccommend for breakfast too. We tried the smash burger this time which had great fries 5/5. Long and perfectly cooked and seasoned. The smash burger itself was just the way that I like it which is crispy on the edges. Unfortunately at 70aed (for a single with fries) the patty is very thin and small for its price 4/5. Staff were relaxed, friendly and helpful. 5/5 Overall a good experience and will be back. Bonus: Was very happy to see the barcode menu wasn't working and we got paper menus. Old skool is the best with human interaction and menus you can hold 👌

Visited Nightjar for brunch and had a decent experience overall. We ordered the Hokey Pokey and a Spanish Latte to start. The Hokey Pokey was exactly as described, with a rich flavor of pralines and caramel that really stood out. The Spanish Latte was good and the coffee itself had a great flavor, but it didn’t quite match the typical profile since it lacked the sweetness and condensed milk taste you’d expect. For food, we had scrambled eggs on sourdough with lamb sausage and bacon. This was a solid dish. The sausages were well cooked, the bacon was crispy, and the sourdough was definitely the highlight. We asked for the eggs medium done and they came out perfect. We also tried the fried chicken sandwich with fries. While the chicken itself was fresh and cooked well, the combination with chili honey and the bun didn’t work as well for us. Nightjar has a cool industrial vibe and the location in Alserkal Avenue is probably its biggest strength. The street outside is lively, with people walking around, which makes it a nice spot to sit and soak in the atmosphere. They have an interesting cold drink on tap with multiple flavors, served from a machine that looks like a draft beer tap, but it’s completely non-alcoholic. That was definitely the most memorable part. The food was pretty average and nothing really stood out. The coffee was fine, but also not particularly special or memorable. Overall, I’d recommend Nightjar more for the ambiance and setting than for the food or coffee itself.

I had a wonderful experience at Night Jar Coffee Roasters. The cheesecake was absolutely delicious perfectly creamy and not too sweet. The hot chocolate was rich, smooth, and very comforting, just the way it should be. A special thanks to waiter Thilina, who provided excellent service throughout the time.
