After a long week exhibiting at the NEC, we were looking for somewhere to celebrate as a team before heading home, and we’re so glad we found Lavang. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was brilliant. The whole area had a real buzz about it, and despite the restaurant being packed, the owners and team made us feel genuinely welcome. My first time here last week for my sister’s bday. Heard good things… and it didn’t disappoint! The food & drinks were amazing. I shared the salmon starter and wings, both were really well cooked and well designed. The menu offers some different dishes to your typical BIR. Such as the naga biryani. Was quite spicy but aromatic, unique and authentic (from what I was told) However, the staff are really what sets this Indian apart from the rest. Most are good, but Lavangs are on their own level! Absolutely loved this place. The interior is beautifully decorated, warm, inviting, and clearly done with real attention to detail. The food was superb across the board, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. What really made the experience stand out though was the staff! They genuinely go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and looked after. You can tell they really care. Can’t wait to come back!

Possibly the best service I have ever received - so friendly and helpful and the food was phenomenal! We ordered the railway lamb and the chicken tikka dupiaza with some sides. The meat was so tender and flavoursome! I'm almost sad that we aren't local and can't come more often. Definitely a gem!
