“Excellent service, lovely food and they do de-caf tea”

went to this costa to use the toilet. was going to buy something after but needed to do my business first. worker blocked the door and was staring at me , i told him i understood its not a public toilet but can he move as he wouldn’t let me out. he then refused. i am a minor, her was very aggressive! i pushed him out of the way as he cannot keep me in the store as i did nothing illegal. he then pushed me back aggressively. this is assault/ a battery. seeing as i’m a minor this is completely unacceptable. staff need to be fired for doing this.

Such slow service. The girl who served was very pleasant but there were 4/5 of them there but not doing much. Drink weren’t coming out fast enough, only 1 till open. Out the front was building up with empties and no one coming out (over a 30 minute period).

Average store, could be cleaner inside but I think Costa should take a closer look at person in charge as store manager Shahid is really unpleasant person, rude to customers and embarrassing to say about person working with food, but he should take a hygiene more seriously as he smells. Not a great experience, shame because shopping centre is nice.

Visited the Costa Coffee in Basingstoke Shopping Centre (Festival Place, Unit 37) on Saturday 11th April between 2–3pm and had a very disappointing experience with the store manager (name given as Shahid on receipt). My daughter was told to “shush” mid-order, which left her visibly upset. When I later approached to ask for his name to raise a complaint, his behaviour towards me was dismissive and intimidating—raising his hand close to my face, telling me to “wait,” and repeatedly ordering me to sit down rather than asking when I wanted his name and then to leave the store. When I explained the
