Absolutely disgusted with my experience at Mother Hubbards. I had ordered a meat and potato pie with gravy and chips over the phone and repeated my order twice to make sure they got it right. A friend kindly went to pick it up for me, but when I opened the bag I was shocked to find a kids fish and chips meal and a mushroom pie instead. Mistakes happen, and I could’ve understood that — but what really pushed me over the edge was the complete lack of customer service afterwards. Ordered on UberEats as there was an offer running so thought we’d give it a go. The food was absolutely spot on. Fish and chips were delicious, barely any oil. The curry sauce was also amazing. Fish and chips is a massive portion, you won’t be leaving hungry. We’ll definitely be ordering again from here, very good value. For those moaning about cash only, surely you just order on UberEats?

Wow best fish and chips ever and I live next to the coast, chips are fantastic and the special is soft and succulent and cooked in a reasonable time so your don't have to wait to long to eat 😋
