This review is for the wonderful breakfast team. We had 4 mornings of breakfast. Including Two teens and a special needs adult. They treated us wonderfully with extra patience and care despite being extremely busy at times. Extra special mentions to Chris and magda who made the effort to chat to us and make us feel extra welcome. The food was lovely, all areas clean and we enjoyed every morning.

I ordered the turkey dinner with all the “trimmings” from the Christmas menu, priced at over £30. Unfortunately, the meal did not include items typically expected in a traditional Christmas dinner, such as ham, stuffing, cranberry, mash or sprouts. I found the overall taste bland, and the quality did not justify the price. The carrots were tough, and I was unable to eat the ‘mixed greens’. Additionally, the main course took a considerable amount of time to arrive, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. My husband and I waited 45 minutes for a table when the restaurant was empty. After ordering our food a chef came in with bags of shopping from Lidl unpacked in restaurant before bringing into the kitchen. Our main was ready at the same time as our starter which then sat under the lamps for close to 30 minutes. We ordered burgers and chips with peppercorn sauce- sauce had a skin on top and gloopy when poured out the chips were hard and the meat undercooked. Myself and my husband stayed here in the hotel.. came down for breakfast and was greatly received by staff Magda. Who helped us with everything we needed including quiet seating due to my epilepsy.. I'm very grateful to here for help with my disability. Felt Magda went above and beyond for us. We felt very welcomed and loved a very tasty meal in peace
