I've just had the Rainbow Lasagne and it was delicious. Loads of salad with it too. It was £11.79 but we had a voucher today which brought the price down a bit. My wife was happy with her gammon too. Staff were friendly and efficient.

A dependably good pub with friendly staff and ample seating, is The California. They have a decent collection of beers on tap, a good spread on the menu, plus a parking lot despite being (somewhat) close to Sutton high street. All in all, highly recommended!

Ordered a medium rare steak this evening and it arrived well done. It was more fat than steak. Very chewy and inedible. Waited ages for the pudding to come and had to ask a member of staff to actually bring it. Lady manager rude and combative when you complain. We were not the only people with poorly cooked steaks this evening. Food has really gone down hill in this pub. Time to find somewhere else to eat.

For major events there isn't enough staff allocated therefore well over 10 minute queue to get served. The staff are friendly and food lovely but please put on more staff for big TV events.
