I’ve been to quite a few pubs around Birmingham, but Actress & Bishop has become my favourite by far. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good live music, and a genuinely welcoming crowd. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick pint or spending the whole evening there, it always feels comfortable and relaxed. As someone staying nearby, it quickly became my local. The team behind the bar have always been friendly and professional, and the place has the kind of character that’s becoming harder to find these days. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a proper Birmingham pub experience.

From the outside it looks like a quaint little pub. Once you side step the security guys who block the door, it's more a sports pub with huge screens blasting out the footie. The crowd that was in seemed quite clique-y with everyone hugging one of the bouncers and ignoring anyone else stood at the bar. Bit odd. Beer was nice enough.
