Arriving in Birmingham after being stuck on a long delayed train, I felt like going for something to eat. Talking to the excellent staff at the record store The Diskery, I was recommended a place that I had not heard of before. Situated within The Duke of Wellington Hotel & Bar pub ( there are a number of signs outside the pub for Café Racer. ) The restaurant is to the side of the main bar. The food is extremely flavourful, the service kind and considerate! The team visited our table to ask about our satisfaction and actually we had a nice chat with two guys from the team. I've already tried a few Indian restaurants in Birmingham and compared to Indian Cafe Racer, they don't do well! This restaurant certainly has a youthful vibe and very tasty food with very good service. Now, I haven't tried the whole menu yet but I'll do so in time and update my review here. Absolutely fantastic experience at Indian racer cafe! The food was bursting with authentic flavours, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt fresh and carefully prepared. Meat items was so nice and juicy and vegetarian dish was so delicious too The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive,making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. special thanks to Mr MUBIN The atmosphere was warm and inviting—perfect for a relaxed meal. We have truly never tasted Indian food so nice. We chose everything that the lady recommended, and we are so glad that we did. Service is fantastic. Friendly, attentive, keeping the table clean. We are so pleased we stumbled across this little gem. Now we just need an excuse to come back to Birmingham so we can eat here again.
