Went to have a meal at The Physician for the first time to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The staff are very attentive, friendly and quick service. The food was hot, presented well and delicious. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and effortlessly stylish. Loved it. Tasteful environment and had a great fire going, despite being midweek lunchtime. Large but cosy and full of natural light, various dining and seating areas. Very good table service and excellent food. Very decent portions...the pudding pictured was their mini version. Will look forward to going there again.

A lovely pub to visit on a snowy day, and enjoy a couple of pints by the fire. The food smelt lovely but I didn't eat anything this time. There was a decent selection of beers on draught, as well as soft drinks and hot drinks for kids. Service was friendly and quick.
