Very quiet why I was there. Place was clean tidy, and the service friendly. Surrounded by various beer icons, the whole idea of coming here was to try something new that we had not tried yet. And that was adequately met. Various seating are around to make you comfy how you want. If you want to sit outside in the roadside and watch the world go by you can. Overall nice.

Popped in for a Sunday roast as I was in the area. I had the beef and pork roast. Sadly I have to agree with some other reviewers that the beef is tough and the gravy does seem to be from granules. Great Yorkshire pudding and veg though! The beer selection however, is amazing and I enjoyed a lovely deya pale ale. Would definitely come back for a drink, maybe not for the roast. Lots of books around so would be lovely for a quiet drink and a pint. Quite a few reservations for the Sunday lunch, so it may just be me!

Went with a colleague for the first time and really liked and enjoyed the drinks and food. A warm and friendly place very close to Birmingham City Centre in just five minutes walking distance. Inside and outside sitting areas with authentic and modern decoration gives a warm and welcoming message immediately.

A warm and cozy atmosphere. Staff were lovely and welcoming. A reservation is required although neither me or my parent could access their website as it was blocked by our phone provider, don’t know what is with that?? However, we did manage to get a table as a walk in. The Sunday roast hit the spot!!Although, the beef was a little chewy for me and the Yorkshire pudding was a little stale, like it had been sat under a heat lamp. Overall, would recommend and would go again :)
