Lunch special was fab! Our server was also outstanding. This was our first meal after arriving in Brighton and was such a wonderful experience. From the staff and the chats we had with people and nearby tables, we were made to feel so welcome. Food was top notch, we did splurge with dessert for lunch on top of the lunch special platters and every bite was delicious.

Love a good independent restaurant when they serve delicious variety of dishes. Starters made us look forward to the big meal cause it was so good! The steak was chefs kiss! Charcoal grilled; smelled amazing & the sauces that came with yum. I’ve got a sweet tooth so with the recommendation from the team, got myself a dessert platter and I finished the whole thing myself. 10/10! service staff were all attentive and polite. You can share the starters, but the rest - must get your own cause it’s super delish!

We came here for my birthday meal and the food was fantastic! Despite the restaurant being small the tables were not crammed in and each person had a good amount of space. We ordered the corn ribs and brisket croquettes to start, both were inedible! For main we had the ribeye with a few different sauces. The meat was perfectly cooked as desired and seasoned extremely well. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back again.

What a great little place! Looks unassuming, understated decor (except for the hop bines full of lights in the ceiling!), open kitchen, lovely staff who were knowledgeable and helpful, so lots to recommend it even before we get to the food! My only very minor issue was that the delicious fresh bread was cold, maybe if it had been warmed a little that would have been perfect. The corn ribs were the best I've ever had, really tasty! The steaks were cooked perfectly, the accompanying sauces were absolutely spot on, and the sides were out of this world! We had creamed spinach and macaroni cheese
