Charming traditional Italian restaurant, very good food and great friendly Italian service. Prices are very reasonable and the portions great. This place stands out as it feels like it has heritage, you feel like the owner is serving you and has done this his whole life. Several diners in when I visited, all seemed to be regulars which tells you it's worth coming back again and again. I had a prawn starter which was great and a carbonara main, made traditionaly. Good eats and classic atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Di Meo feels like stepping into a classic old school Italian restaurant that has not tried to modernise itself just to follow trends. The place has that warm family run energy where everything feels traditional and relaxed. One thing that really stood out to me was that they still write your receipt by hand which instantly gave me that authentic Italian dining vibe. It feels like a place that has been doing things the same way for years and honestly that charm makes the experience more personal and memorable. Based on the high Google rating, my expectations were much higher. I ordered the Penne al Pollo, and it was exactly that—penne pasta with chicken in red sauce, without anything memorable or distinctive about the flavor. It wasn’t bad, but there was no special touch or recipe that made the dish stand out. Unfortunately, it wasn’t something I’d want to order again.
