It's a small restaurant near the station. The food tastes good, I recommend the cold meze, it comes with a delicious humus. The mushrooms are also delicious. We had 2 family platters, one mix and one just chicken. The mix one had meat that was a bit undercooked. The chicken platter was way better than the mix platter. Overall 3 stars as I've had better Turkish food for much much cheaper. We spent over 200 pounds for 2 platters, 2 starters and some drinks. If you go to Turkish restaurants in barking or Ilford, you would spend maximum 130 pounds for the same food. What I didn't like at al

We were searching for a turkish restaurant for months. One to live up to our excellent standard that we were use to in the city and Meydan didnt dissappoint! The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. The quality of the food is a pleasure on the tongue. We ordered lamb shank with rice and carrots, mixed mez platter for two and lentil soup. We went back the following week for take away lamb chops. Again the service and food was delicious! I highly recommend. PS! They are not afraid to recommend dishes, which I really admire. The portion is huge so I’d suggest to share one main for two people. We had a doggy bag so enjoyed next day at home too :) They also have a proper charcoal grill so you can tell the flavour differs to other restaurants. Highly recommend this, looking forward to going back and try more!
