I had such a lovely experience at Abraço Dalston. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. One thing that really stood out was how kind and complimentary they were. They told me they loved my hair, which was such a simple gesture but genuinely made me feel good and brightened my day. The food and drinks were delicious, and the overall service was excellent. It’s a place that makes you feel valued and comfortable, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

As someone that has visited this cafe consistently over a period of 7 months, this is a long awaited review. Though I have heard negative reviews before, I am here to write and dispel these negative comments, like the staff "don't smile enough". I laughed for a whole minute at that comment, knowing full well the staff are exceptional even on busy days. For me, the best flat white in the Hackney/Islington area and possibly anywhere outside Australasia! No harsh bitterness but a balanced, rounded flavour. I also love their food: porridge; çibir; fry-up. All staff members are friendly, welcoming and helpful. I go there virtually every morning for my coffee.

I’m not sure how to phrase this without sounding offensive towards other customers as it is not their fault but the service here is so poor. One of the girls did not acknowledge me when passing my coffee ( she literally kept her back towards me and just slightly moved her arms to pass it). To be very honest , the experience in this place was just not it. It felt dehumanising and I would go as far to say discriminatory especially after I witnessed her greet and smile at another individual straight after.
