Amazing Mexican food is hard to come by. Therefore you should come here. Situated just shy of Stoke Newington and north of Hackney Station - thisnis a welcoming place. Terrace and street seating available under cover and outside, as well as the restaurant inside. Service - attentive but not overly bearing. Drinks - well made with a simply massive selection of mezcal. Food was truly epic and made with some superb skill. Corrochio’s in Dalston is one of the better Mexican spots in London. Prices are a bit high, but the food delivers. The short rib birria tacos were excellent, with deep, rich flavour and a great consommé, though I would have liked a bit more heat. The carnitas tacos with salsa maya were also very good, with a nice slow-building spice. We also shared the tostada de camarón, which was fresh and well balanced. Great DEYA beer on tap, friendly service, and a dark, relaxed atmosphere.

Gorgeous restaurant with delicious Mexican food and vibes! Loved it so much! Went for a friend’s bday, the service was nice and quick, food was nice, margharita was good, overall experience is amazing! I also liked the vibes, you can have lunch, dinner or enjoy the clubbing downstairs! In means of pricing, it is reasonably, good for groups, big and small or solo. Definitely a go!

All of the food was amazing! The taco with the bone marrow extra was expensive but worth trying. The Tortas was my favourite and an absolute must! Staff were super friendly, I didn’t get his name but the guy serving us (Aussie fella) really helped breakdown which options to choose an everyone we had serving us after were really friendly. One we will be coming back to and recommending to others!
