Our first trip to the Heron on the Ford was fabulous. I went with 5 friends and all our food was delicious.The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The live band; Taylor and Ward were great and added to the evening. I had asked for a table with a view of the band and they certainly delivered. Thank you

Great country pub, next to the Ford. Good beer selection, good standard pub menu. Can combine a visit with a relaxing walk around the nature reserve opposite.. through the style. Good place for kids. Has a nice pub garden too.
