Sitting here with my daughter for a delicious pre-graduation breakfast. Côte is a friendly French brasserie near the cathedral and High Chelmer shops with some real Parisian vibes. I was expecting to only find a greasy spoon open ar 8am, this was a lot more sophisticated than I was expecting. Eggs Benedict, French Toast and coffee. All spot on.

Great after a slow start. Seated at a nice quiet, tucked away table as we preferred, but we're not attended to for 20 minutes. Once we asked to order at the bar, the service was thereafter attentive and friendly. A small oversight it would seem. The food was delivered quickly and met with expectations, and well priced. We opted for the free flow fizz with our brunch, and we're topped up frequently, not leaving us on wanting. Muhammad was a warm presence throughout our service. We recommend that Cote is worth a visit, and we will be returning to try their main menu.

My partner and I had a three-course meal on a quiet Thursday evening. It’s warm and cosy. The staff were very welcoming and the food was better than I expected. The set menu is great value for money. I forgot taking pictures for the starter. But both potted crab and charcuterie were delicious. I preferred grilled sea bream to the steak frites. As for dessert, the chocolate tart was great but I loved the pistachio crème brûlée. I also recommend Merlot if you want to have red wine and sunrise juice if you don’t want alcoholic drinks.
