I visited a few pubs on my hours stay in Chelmsford and this is my pick to go if you have a train ir bus to take. Right next to both stations, this place opens at noon and has the best food specials in the area. Do not waste your time looking for another, this is nothing fancy but worth the stop. If you are looking to eat and drink come here and enjoy, your wallet will thank you. Again nothing fancy but clean and amazing service, best I have had in UK in a long time. Came on an impromptu date night and loved every minute of it. We had a starter main and a drink each and it came to just over £60. Definitely worth every penny. Our waitress Paige went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and made sure to check in on regularly.

What a fantastic evening! The food was spot on as always, but our server D the lovely lady with the glasses and red lipstick, absolutely stole the show. She was an absolute cracker , confident, bubbly, and honestly the best service I’ve had in years. The way she moved around the restaurant had me smiling the whole night. Then, out of nowhere, she dropped into a perfect handstand right by our table! Legs straight up, big smile, looking incredible the whole time. If I was 35 years younger, I’d have definitely asked for her number!
