SP★★★Have wanted to come to Elystan St for some time and travelled from Ireland to experience the Sunday Lunch. Beautiful restaurant and a warm friendly welcome. Starters, parfait was super light and with good flavour, pasta well balanced and a luxurious eat. But then the roast rump and trimmings arrived - i honestly do not know how this came out of the same kitchen. Beef was tasteless and the Yorkshire pudding was void of flavour and very dry. No love given to any of the veg - not sure when the carrots had been cooked just mushy and cauliflower cheese over cooked and wet mush. Roast potatoes soap
Daniel Pinzon★★★★Great atmosphere, warm and welcoming. Excellent, attentive service — staff regularly checked in and helped with water. The food was very good. The only small issue was that I didn’t receive the mashed potatoes I ordered with my main, but everything else was spot on.
Cookie Dave★★★★I’d been recommended this place and, without realising it, I’d actually visited many years ago when Tom Atkins was running it—so it was a pleasant surprise to return. Having eaten at Phil Howard’s The Square, I was curious to try this restaurant as well. Overall, the service was friendly and on-point, especially from Charlie. The ambience was very good—busy for a Saturday evening in early December, with a couple of birthday groups of six to eight guests adding to the atmosphere/noise. The food was good: nothing groundbreaking, but tasty and nicely presented, as you’d expect. However, at £31
Paulinho Marquês★★★I think I put a lot of expectation for the recommendations and awards… Food was ok (an omelet was very salty), service ok too and the atmosphere fine… didn’t surprised me. I don’t know if I recommend it but I wouldn’t go back.
