Only popped in for a post meal libation. Relaxed. Good selection of beer. Friendly welcome. Some noisy students having fun but nothing of any bother. Old fashioned boozer. Can't go wrong

Refused entry, not given a reason ,My friends and myself are regular visitors to Chesterfield.Having been a regular visitor to this pub before I would have thought at the very least I deserved a reason for no entry.None was given.and presumably there will be no reply to this complaint..what a Shame that such a nice pub is off limits,but please don’t worry I and many of my friends,work colleagues,will not be coming back….ever

Fantastic pub for Sunday lunch. The food was excellent, well cooked and tasted blooming lovely. Kudos to the chef. All the staff were really nice. All in all a lovely pub with a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit. Definitely will be back.
