Overall: ★★★☆☆ Food: Juices/Toasted Sandwiches An overpriced, overrated chain of ‘juice and toasted sandwiches’ shops. I had to go as I was invited to a meeting there and having waited over 20 minutes in a not very busy place with way too many staff milling about I received my well packaged toasted all day breakfast sandwich. It was reasonably good but worth £8 (£9.60 to ‘dine in’ ) absolutely not! I don’t get the hype and I’m no Luddite but this was not a particularly inviting place and absolutely nothing special. very quick service, prices are quite high but that is characteristic of the chain so cannot fault them! as always the drinks and pastry were very tasty and the interior of the cafe is always nice to look at 🌟💫

OK I wrote a bad review once on Joe & The Juice and I swear that they are making and messing up my delivery order on purpose. Today completely wrong order ginger shot completely spilled in the bag didn’t even get a piece of bread that was hole on the sandwich, broken in halfcarrot cake smooshed and got the entire incorrect order.

I went into Joe & the Juice today and bought a cappuccino and a chocolate brownie. I paid for it and then had a look at the receipt as £8.20 seemed a lot. I then noticed that they had charged me £4.30 (for a take away coffee), but also charged me 90p on top for a sprinkling of chocolate!!! A total of £5.20 for a very small take away cup of coffee!! Had I decided to have it in the cafe it would have cost me £4.70 just for the coffee which would have cost at least £5.60!! I expect they would have charged even more for the chocolate sprinklings on top. Headline - £5.20 for a takeaway coffee!
