Popped into Dr chippys for late lunch and tried something different had jolof rice with chicken wings was great wings crunchy but juicy wings rice nice spice to it for £6 or £7 with drink also ordered small cod and chips which was great crunchy batter chips crunchy but so soft on inside was amazing will defo be back.

Forgot to take a proper photo at the start because I was too eager to eat 😅 but the fish was fresh, crispy, and absolutely delicious. Light batter, flaky fish inside, and cooked perfectly. Portion size was generous, chips were golden and satisfying, and everything tasted freshly made. Simple, classic, and done right 👌 Loved it and would definitely recommend. Will be back again!

We visited Dr Chippy as a family and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The Turkish owner welcomed us warmly with a friendly greeting and Salam, which immediately made us feel at home. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and well-maintained throughout — including the toilets, which is always a great sign of a well-run establishment. The food was outstanding! The fish and chips were absolutely delicious, and the portions were incredibly generous — so generous in fact that we couldn’t finish our meals and had plenty to take home with us!
