Staff are friendly and the place is clean but the food quality is terrible. With the latest pricing increases it's actually a comparable spend with the higher end cafes nearby. Fried breakfasts frequently leave an unpleasant after taste in the middle of the tongue. Paid £8 for a bacon bagel this morning, barely any bacon in it and what was there was poorly cooked. The expense is the real kick in the teeth, a coffee, hash brown and a bacon bap stuffed with bacon in Tim Hortons is less than £4 and is much tastier. It's a shame as it used to be decent spot but the food on my last 4 visits has

Very friendly and helpful staff and great atmosphere (although it was very busy when I visited). Soup was great, coffee was subpar and quite average. It’s a little expensive however and I wouldn’t say the food or drink actually is worth it for the price unfortunately.

Food ok, now got touch screens to order. My traybake was just ok, not very tasty. Where we were sitting I could see a staff member in the kitchen helping himself to chips dipping them in tomato ketchup!! I question the hygiene in Bob and Berts.
