Brilliant experience at Ruben’s. Josh gave us a lovely welcome, Abby took time to explain the menu and sort our drinks, and Gracie and Izzy were also super friendly and attentive. The burgers, chicken tenders and loaded fries were great, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Fantastic team and food — A huge credit to the staff — we’ll definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Congleton. 👏🍔🍟

Three of us visited on a whim on a Tuesday night. I have ordered from Ruebens but never gone into dine. The food was flavourful as always and the portions were fairly sized. We didn’t wait long for our order to be taken for our food to arrive, there was a very slight delay on one of the sides but just as we were about to raise the issue the server was heading out with it.

Absolutely lush!! 5 of us dined and all agreed, clearing our plates and leaving stuffed to the gills! The sharing platter was a great way to enjoy lots of different items. Atmosphere was relaxed and staff were really friendly and efficient. Highly recommended. No photos as we were too busy stuffing our faces!

In times past, we've had a good and consistent experience at Reubens, however last Saturday, we weren't too happy with the bill, when compared to what we'd actually received, and really didn't like being put on the spot with "would you like an extra patty", an obvious attempt to boost revenue, which made us a little bit uncomfortable. The quality of the food was no where near as good as in former times. I hope they return to form, because I wouldn't return with things as they are.
