At Mocha Lounge this morning, I was genuinely horrified to see a customer being repeatedly berated by the owner, Lyn, for having booked a table for six people. She was told that she should have booked two tables and that her presence was inconveniencing other customers. This was said not just once, but several times, in full view of other customers. Even members of staff appeared visibly uncomfortable with the situation. Love this place, I am regular lunch time customer once a week. Am always greeted with a smile and never too busy to pass time of day or a short chat. Love their panninis. With brie and cranberry on brown. And my loyalty card gets me a free regular drink every 7th time..

The coffee and cakes at this cafe are exceptional. However, the owner’s behaviour can be unprofessional at times. While I understand the challenges of running a business and the additional stress it entails, rudeness is unacceptable. It appears she favours older customers, who are likely to be her friends. Other customers who regularly visit the cafe are not treated with the same courtesy. The rest of the staff are pleasant and work diligently.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here on Saturday. Was arranged in advance for a birthday 🎂. We wanted some Gluten free options and vegan too and they catered for it all and it was delicious 😋 It gets busy so be prepared to have to wait for a table but other than that can't fault them. Staff went above and beyond to make our day wonderful 💕 Thank you xx
