Amazing little gem in Cov! We had a lovely dinner and ordered 2 pies freshly made, specifically: Chicken, smoked bakon and leek pie; Portabello mushroom, white wine & tarragon pie which we chose to be vegetarian. They were accompained with chunky chips and mushy peas. All was fantastic and rather quick! Dessert was also lovely, during a chilly evening the warm dessert just made it! In the pic you can see a chock fudge cake served with custard and a sticky toffe pud with cream. Service was quick and kind, with a good taste in music. Amazing place to spend a relaxing dinner.

Haven't been here for a long time, but had a father's day meal here with family and everyone really enjoyed it. Didn't wait long for the food and it was good portions for the price. The ladies that served us were very friendly and polite. It was quiet but we went late afternoon and it was boiling outside so I think we were the mad ones 😆. Will definitely come back, I like the look of the lunch offer

The food was piping hot and delicious. We got the goujons and mushrooms to start then rump steak (medium) - great deal 2 for £15 on the steak on a Wednesday. Staff also let us mix and match with the gammon. Wasn’t busy at all and the staff were very friendly. Would recommend.

Been wanting to go here for a while now was not disappointed. Food excellent service was great. And a lot cheaper than I expected. Definitely go again when they have some entertainment
