I pass here regularly and had been wanting to try it. Ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich and the bread was delicious but there was barely any chicken inside. For the 8.50 price tag i would expect a well filled sandwich. Nice cosy cafe otherwise

I absolutely love this place, I’ve been a few times before and it never fails to be fantastic. I love the Lebanese braised beans on toast as a warming hearty brunch plate for such a reasonable price. The coffee is also delicious and the staff are always friendly. This place manages to strike a perfect balance between and upmarket cafe without the pretentious atmosphere of a lot of other places. Definitely recommend and I will 100% be back!

I would say that in comparison to their rivals in area their bread is so much better. Coffee is hit or miss … cold sometimes hot others . Food? Mixed bag . I have had some splendid mixes of food… always found the mushrooms on toast excellent. Some other dishes let’s pass over … The servers can be moody . Once they gave me a plate of cold food - Dahl it hadn’t been heated up at all . I prefer the coffee across the road, Arlos bread and cakes, the food is a gamble . Let’s see how the battle develops for the Brockley Brunch … let the games begin

Used to come here just for the chicken and avocado sandwich which used to have lots of chicken and spicy mayo in it but today it didn’t taste of anything and there was two bits of chicken in it. Now not worth £8.50 but the chai latte is decent. Still one of the better cafes in the area though.
