I regularly shop at Sainsbury's Didcot and consistently have a very positive experience. The store is spacious, well organised and easy to navigate, which makes weekly shopping straightforward and efficient. Persistent problems with damaged packaging of chilled goods on the shelves (i.e. holes in packaging meaning the food is potentially unsafe). Impossible to ever get through on the phone to report these issues. Unless you're happy eating spoiled food, you will need to look very carefully at any chilled food you buy there.

Received my on line order today and all the chilled and frozen items were warm to the touch and scattered amongst all the crates - I mentioned this to the driver and she said "oh they were in the cold box". Normally chilled and frozen items are all together in one crate. Not happy about eating these items as I don't know how long they'd been sitting in the van unchilled!! My crackers and multipack biscuits were at the bottom of the crate with litre cartons of milk chucked on top so they were all squashed. Not up to normal Sainsbury's standards
