Friend and I came for Friday lunch. We had the delicious fish finger on mushy peas sandwich (the bread was lovely too),& chips. Be aware the restaurant is upstairs. I have mobility issues but managed ok with the handrails. The staff were very good and their courtesy matched the vintage vibe.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon after searching somewhere nearby from taking the kids to Diggle, luckily the staff found some room for us around 17.00 for the family of 5 ! Absolutely amazing staff 👏 very friendly amd accommodating , the pub is old with plenty of history , very cosy and rustic ! The Sunday dinner 🍽 was great will definitely visit again ! Seems a family run pub who again are very friendly and great with children. Feels like a pub I'd want to around Christmas time I imagine it to be very festive.

We have just visited today for Sunday Lunch and it most definitely will not be our last visit. The pub itself is lovely and cosy and clean. The lady serving us (auburn/red-ish hair was lovely. She was lovely with our three children, as were all the staff. The service they provided was exceptional. Our children are a little fussy and can find 'Sunday menus" a bit limited for them but the staff were so accommodating making it work for them and we had 3 clean plates. As for the Sunday dinners themselves both myself and the hubby had beef roast dinner and it was delicious. We are real foodies and
