been in sheffield this week and we all fancied a toby carvery for lunch today! this was the closest branch. reserved our booking for 4 people online ahead of time to ensure we got a table, however it wasn’t busy at all. we waited for a while at the front before we were greeted by a member of staff. i washed my hands in the toilet before we ate, the hand dryer does absolutely nothing! i was stood for a good minute trying to get them dry. all the toby carvery’s that i’ve been to before usually use an app/qr code to order directly, however at this branch, a server comes to the table. the server w

We had a great visit today. Visited with my partners family and he has an allergy that is not one of the main 14. The man who was working the carvery was brilliant at catering for the allergy, recommending what can be altered etc, and went out of his way to ensure my partner was catered for. The food was great and the service was excellent. 10/10 would recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I came to Toby Carvery for a roast, but I left wondering if the bearded chef has secretly been trained by Cupid. Watching him confidently carve the meat with the precision of a surgeon and the swagger of a TV chef was unexpectedly entertaining. I almost forgot to ask for gravy because I was too busy admiring the carving skills! Thankfully, the roast was just as impressive—perfectly cooked meat, fluffy potatoes, tasty veg, and generous portions. Whoever hired the bearded chef deserves a pay rise, because he’s serving up both top-quality food and a reason to keep coming back. Five stars,

A jewel in the heart of the Toby company. You're greeted by staff who make your dining experience a fantastic one. The food is as great as the service. The food is fresh and plentiful and extremely tasty. The have a wide range of beers and drink but I love a refill from the machine. We have visited a number of times and it is without a doubt our favourite place. It truly is the home of the best roast. Thank you all for a fantastic experience.
