I had a disappointing experience at Pepe’s Piri Piri - Ealing Broadway today around 2:45pm. I ordered peri peri flavour fries. The staff member told me the price was £2.49, which I paid. However, when I received the packet, the portion size was very small. I mentioned that the quantity seemed too little, and he replied that if I wanted extra, I would need to pay more. I explained that I regularly eat at Pepe’s Piri Piri - Wembley, where I pay the same price and receive a much better portion size. To be clear, this is not about the price or portion size. I often go to buy grilled chicken to take home. It's always a popular spot, whether there's a queue or people eating in the shop. Moreover, it's cheaper than many other stores. I love the flavor of their grilled chicken; it has just the right amount of richness – not too much, not too little, everything is perfectly balanced and delicious. The shop is clean and tidy, and the staff take orders quickly and accurately, without ever trying to push sales. The taste has remained consistently good since my first visit, which is great.
