Eastbourne is spoilt for places selling a good breakfast. I would normally go to the beach deck or Bistro Pierre for good location. I wanted a good value greasy spoon and decided to go to the Beatty. When I arrived I was the only person there. The car park is currently being renovated so I assumed that had impacted the business. Positives- decent portion, immaculately clean, free parking. Negatives- Price. I looked at the website and saw the cost was reasonable, sadly the prices have been hiked massively and it is more expensive than Bistro Pierre. Quality- cheap generic food, catering sausage

When we walked in there was no welcome, we walked to the till and they all just looked, we asked for a table and they said just sit anywhere. We found ourselves a seat and noticed that it was cash only. The attitude from the female member of staff was shocking. Food was nice and midrange price but will not return as hospitality was poor.

What a great way to start the day! Excellent service and tasty and freshly cooked food at reasonable but not cheap prices. You get what you pay for here. Will definitely visit again.
