Fantastic pub, under new (fabulous) management. Great selection of rums (my tipple) and beers, including furstenburg. The staff really are lovely and friendly with decent banter The pub atmosphere is like a local bar should be with plenty of interesting people. Nice nooks and crannies, comfortable seats and clean toilets.

A large group of us dropped in on a Friday tea time. without notice and they couldn't have been more accommodating. They gave us a back room to ourselves, lit candles and offered table service for the drinks. Very much appreciated, thank you!!

We've finally got a great local, since a few weeks ago. A big pub with three rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. Well kept local beers, good service and music and (so far) none of the live music and pub quizzes which stopped us meeting up in other bars for a drink. Plus no coffee machine or kitchen 👍👍 Good mix of people and we'll be back

Little gem on the walk out the city, lots of bars and pubs but a decent selection of cask, craft and commercial beer. Other half a bit fussy with cocktails but enjoyed one here. Will return if we're passing.
