Fantastic cafe tucked to the side of the royal mile. The pancakes with bacon & maple syrup were amazing. Only marked down a star on service as you have to go up and order at the counter, especially if you decide you'd like another drink. But a very nice place for breakfast, thank you.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Edinburgh. I have recommended this to a lot of friends who have traveled there and they end up loving it just as much as I do. I planned a whole family vacation and made sure that when I came back, I brought my entire family here. Pancakes are the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my entire life. If you eat here, please please try the pancakes. Highly recommend. Great location right on the Royal Mile surrounded by a ton of tourist shops and the castle. Cute little café close to the Castle. Sat on the outside and ordered a smoked salmon beagle. It was to die for. So flavourful and salty! Also we tried a cheese scone since they are famous for it and it did not disappoint. Soft, warm and crumbly. Amazing wee gem in the heart of Edinburgh.

Stumbled onto this cute Scottish cafe on the royal mile- very popular and was packed when we got there at 3 pm for lunch. Fab wall murals tell the story and inspiration behind the Jekyll and Hyde. Recommend the soup and toasted sandwiches. Very cute little take away whisky shots also for sale 😆
