I love coming to visit Maison de Moggy. It is an unique experience down in Edinburgh's Grassmarket area. Booking in advance is highly recommended and your booking fee gets your entrance to the Cafe. The drinks and cakes are an additional extra which you can order when you have your table. The cats are very friendly and when we visited, some were quite playful and others were fast asleep. Had the most amazing experience meeting 8 out of the 10 cats that call this place home — the other 2 were doing what cats do best: sleeping! The staff were fantastic and shared so much information about each cat. It’s home to Oriental Shorthairs, British Shorthairs, Ragdolls, Norwegian Forest Cats, and Maine Coons, and you can really tell how well cared for they all are. The staff genuinely love and look after them brilliantly. Be warned though — you’ll absolutely want to take every single one of them home with you. Genevieve completely stole my heart especially ❤️

This is a fun and quaint cafe. You are welcomed by friendly staff who introduce all of the cats. They spend time encouraging the cats to interact, take treats, and do tricks. The cafe is so clean and fresh. There is no smell of litter or cats which was super surprising. The entry price is very reasonable and the menu prices are as well. Would definitely recommend.

Cozy spot with well-cared-for cats! The staff is friendly, though the coffee is nothing special. The entry fee is a bit high, and it was a shame that the cats only hung around a few regulars during our visit, leaving others to just watch. I hope that money goes to a good cause, though!
