My husband and I came across this adorable little cafe while out for a stroll. We were looking for something cozy that had great coffee that wasn’t another chain. Nadia was so friendly and warm, and the food was excellent. We usually try not to visit the same place twice when we travel, but we felt so at home here and enjoyed our experience so much that we made this our home base and started every morning enjoying Nadia’s excellent cappuccinos and breakfasts! I arrived in Edinburgh early in the morning and was looking for somewhere nice to eat — found The Ginger Coo Café on Google Maps and it was a great choice! They have so many options for everyone, including all-day brunch, which was perfect. The atmosphere was really welcoming and relaxed, and the gentleman who served us was absolutely lovely and very helpful. I don't know how to explain this but it was the most satisfying dining experience I've had in years. It was the fact I was starving, we'd been walking around all morning and my wife loves Highland cows. So all the markers were there. But the food was absolutely A-grade I wanted the breakfast twice but the first was filling enough. Lovely pastry selection that is also the window display, so cool. And so tasty.
