Absolutely brilliant! Me and my girlfriend visited Exeter and wanted a nice dinner out. I booked a table for Saturday evening the night before as a last minute thing, and it was so worth it. The food was sensational, we thoroughly enjoyed each dish and also the service was so polite, attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was very old-fashioned and unique, which was lovely and also complimented the old architecture of the city. I would 100% go here again and have no doubt that I will be returning if I revisit Exeter.

A short five-minute walk from Exeter Cathedral, I went to Cosy Club for dinner on a warm August evening as a walk-in, mid-evening, with no reservation. It was moderately busy but there was plenty of space, and I was seated without any fuss. Dining solo felt straightforward and comfortable. The rooms are large and airy, with bright colours, generous spacing between tables and plenty of decorative detail. Local artwork and layered interiors give the space character and provided plenty to take in, while the overall atmosphere was relaxed and easy to settle into. The menu leans confidently into

Cozy Club used to be a reliable favourite, but something has gone seriously off the rails. The £6 mac and cheese side has undergone what I can only assume is an extreme weight loss programme. It arrived looking like less than half a portion and emotionally unprepared for the price tag. The kids burger came out burnt. Not chargrilled, not smoky, just aggressively overdone, which is impressive in the worst possible way when it is meant for a child. And in a bold, confusing move, the trusty coleslaw has apparently been replaced with gravy. Gravy. With a burger. Why. What used to feel indulgent

OMG the food was so good. I had the prawn starter and it was so good - I didn't know if it would be worth the money but it was actually the perfect amount ready for the main which was also delicious. Oooh and the truffle and parmesan fries perfecccttt. The GF options were nicely varied and labeled well, the server even brought the plates out separately so he didn't accidentally contaminate them. The staff were all smiley and lovely and the decor was a really cool little vibe. A really cute little gem. Also everything was nice and clean - I know it sounds weird but if even the toilets are real
