Been using Lucky Star since the day before it opened as Bon East, what, 25 years ago? It has had its ups and downs over the years, but tonight's takeaway was just so disappointing and not value for money. The most disappointing was the Seafood starter that cost £33 for 2 people. Picture attached. This is for 2 people. Previously you got twice this amount. OK, it's a starter, but the quantity has gone down and the price has gone up. Prawn toast overdone as well. I always take the crispy duck out of the bag as soon as we are through the door and never been as issue, but to no avail with tonights

Once again we had a lovely meal tonight, Egg fried rice wasn't as good as before but a delicious meal. Staff were attentive and we had a master class on how to use chopsticks. I'm still not good at it. Worth the visit for that special occasion.

My family and I had an amazing meal here. The staff were all outstanding. My daughter and I were given ice cream and miniature procesco to celebrate our birthdays, such a lovely token. It you want top quality food , relaxed atmosphere and friendly and accommodating staff , this is the restaurant to come to: highly recommend!

The food we had it was very nice and tasty, as I expected from a Chinese restaurant. We had the Sunday buffet for £19 and we ended up very full and pleased with the food (drinks and desserts not included in the price). I definitely recommend this place and I will come back.
